Product description
This is the wrought iron sculpture 'Tree II', created by the artist Jean-Luc Bertel. The work is part of his recent 'Trees' series and shows a clear affinity with the monumental wrought iron sculptures of Chillida, resulting in a powerful and layered design.
The sculpture is entirely hand-forged from iron, with the hammer and anvil technique immediately visible in the surface. The material has been given a special coating that provides a deep black-brown color and a subtle sheen, further accentuating the hammer marks. This is a unique, signed piece from 2026.
The object is in excellent condition and displays the authentic finish as intended by the artist. The robust construction and careful treatment of the metal guarantee the durability of the work.
