This is a vintage Chinese tea set, originating from the renowned porcelain centre of Jingdezhen. The set includes a miniature teapot with a lid and eight matching bowls, crafted in the traditional 'rice grain' or Linglong style.
Each piece is made from fine white porcelain, featuring a translucent pattern created by filling small piercings with glaze before firing. The set is hand-painted with classic blue floral motifs and geometric borders, with maker's marks visible on the base of each item. This set is suitable for serving tea or for decorative display.
