Particularly beautiful mid-century armchair, presumably released through Combinatie Topform.
A characterful armchair with a beautiful appearance and a fine combination of comfort, design, and warm materials.
The design is characterized by a generously upholstered seat, a high backrest with subtly shaped side pieces, and strikingly wide armrests. The backrest has a slightly reclined position and features subtle button details. This gives the armchair a recognizable appearance, while the clean lines and the design of the wooden base provide a modern accent.
The rosewood-colored wooden frame forms a beautiful contrast with the rich upholstery. Especially the design of the armrests and the connecting wooden rails at the bottom give the design its own character.
The armchair presumably comes from the Combinatie Topform collection. Topform was a Dutch purchasing cooperative where independent furniture stores joined forces. By purchasing together and collaborating with various furniture manufacturers, they could offer their own furniture collections. The name Topform is therefore associated with a diverse collection of furniture, including from the mid-century period.
The armchair has been completely restored. Both the woodwork and the interior have been carefully refurbished. The upholstery has also been completely renewed. For this, the high-quality furniture fabric Odense was chosen in a beautiful dark green color. This heavy quality fabric has a beautiful bouclé structure and a rich appearance that fits particularly well with the character of mid-century furniture.
A particularly successful combination of a characterful wooden frame, comfortable design, and high-quality new upholstery. An armchair that comes into its own perfectly in both a vintage and a contemporary interior.
