Iconic Tongue Chair by Pierre Paulin in the rare black fabric finish.
Designed in the 1960s, this chair is one of the French designer's most significant pieces of seating furniture and continues to impress with its exceptional, sculptural form. From every angle, the chair resembles a small design sculpture and is surprisingly comfortable.
The chair offered is in very good vintage condition. The fabric shows only slight, age-related wear and minimal scuffing on one edge (see photos), but overall, the piece is exceptionally well-maintained.
A wonderful collector's item and a striking statement piece for a living room, gallery, or office.
