Product description
This modular wall rack is an iconic design by D. Dekker for the Dutch manufacturer Tomado, produced in the 1950s. The piece of furniture represents the essence of post-war modernism, where functionality and a minimalist design language come together seamlessly.
The system is crafted from a combination of black lacquered metal and warm teak veneer. The construction consists of three distinctive wire metal uprights and six wooden shelves, which can be positioned at various heights as desired. The design measures 70 centimeters in height, 135 centimeters in width, and has a depth of 20 centimeters. The authentic signature 'Tomado-Holland' is stamped into the metal, confirming the origin and heritage of this Dutch Design object.
The wall rack is in good, original condition befitting its age. The furniture retains its authentic character without compromising on functionality.
