Product description
Dutch minimalist standing bookcase designed by Adriaan Dekker and Mr. Van Mieren for Tomado, Netherlands in 1958. This cabinet is made of black metal sides with white lacquered metal shelves in between. This freestanding cabinet is a typical example of 1950s Dutch Modernism where furniture is functional, airy and made of metal. Super progressive for that time. Very decorative and perfect as a bookcase or room divider. The cabinet is 100 cm wide, 25 cm deep and 96 cm high.
Given its age, the cabinet is in good vintage condition with matching signs of age and use such as minor paint damage on some shelves.
