This is a set of two Melt Pendant lamps, designed by British designer Tom Dixon. The set is an example of contemporary design, known for its experiments with materials and forms, and the Melt series is characterized by its distorted spherical shape and mirrored finish.
The lamp is made of polycarbonate with a chrome finish, resulting in a high-gloss, mirrored surface when the lamp is off. When the lamp is on, the shade becomes translucent, revealing a swirling, molten glass effect. With a diameter of 50 cm, this is a substantial fixture, designed in the United Kingdom.
The overall condition of the lamp is excellent. The mirrored chrome finish is intact and retains its original reflective quality, presenting the piece as new.
