For the lover of high-quality Scandinavian mid-century modern design: a rare, oak version of the iconic Bar cart / tea trolley model "Julius". This beautiful and functional piece of furniture was designed in the 1950s/60s by the legendary Swedish duo Sven Engström & Gunnar Myrstrand for the manufacturer Tingströms, released under the quality label Bra Bohag. While this model is usually found in teak, this oak version is much rarer and has a beautiful, lighter, and contemporary look. Features & Details: * Designers: Sven Engström & Gunnar Myrstrand * Manufacturer: Tingströms (Valdemarsvik, Sweden) * Hallmark: Bra Bohag (original brand mark present on the underside) * Material: Oak wood * Functionality: The top tray is designed as a loose, removable tray. Under the second shelf is a wide, smoothly running drawer spanning the full length. The trolley stands on its original, smoothly rolling wheels. Dimensions * Length: 78 cm * Width: 47 cm * Height: 65 cm Condition: The Bar cart is in a beautiful and sturdy vintage condition appropriate for its age. The woodwork is structurally sound, and the wheels roll smoothly. As can be seen in the detail photo, there are a few light, pink/red spots on the inside of the removable tray (superficial discoloration in the top layer).
