About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is an authentic Art Deco jardinière from the Belgian pottery Thulin. The piece is characterized by its elegant oval shape and the rich, vibrant drip glaze typical of the period. Crafted from high-quality ceramic, this jardinière displays a complex interplay of colors. Deep cobalt blue flows into warm, earthy brown and beige tones, resulting in a unique and dynamic surface. The glossy finish accentuates the flowing lines and the depth of the colors. This specific model is marked with the number 209 on the underside, confirming its authenticity. The overall condition of the jardinière is very good, retaining its original luster and without significant signs of wear beyond the normal patina of a vintage object. The interior has a contrasting, lighter glaze, adding a subtle detail to the design. This jardinière is a refined decorative object that fits perfectly on a dresser, windowsill, or side table. It adds a touch of historical elegance to both classic and modern interiors and can serve as a stylish planter or as a standalone art object.
