Product description
For sale: a true design classic: an original Thonet Rocking chair Model 825 from 1966. This rare collector's item is in excellent and absolutely ready-to-use original condition. The iconic Viennese caning on the seat and backrest is still reasonably taut and shows no damage or breaks. The wooden frame has a beautiful, authentic patina. There are only minimal, age-related signs of wear in the form of light scratches and screws that have come loose at a few (non-crucial) joints. You can still sit on it comfortably.
