Description:
A unique postmodern dining set by Thonet from the 1980s, consisting of a hexagonal extendable table and 6 Thonet Model 87 dining chairs.
The table is made of black oak / black lacquered wood and features a striking geometric design. The table is extendable with 2 separate extension leaves of 65 cm each, allowing the total length to be increased to 255 cm. When closed, the table measures 125 x 125 cm.
The 6 matching chairs are marked THONET 87 and feature high, graphic backrests that give the set a strong and elegant postmodern character.
The original red upholstery is still present. The pink upholstery is stapled, so it is easy to remove.

The table is made of black oak / black lacquered wood and can be extended with 2 separate leaves of 65 cm each, reaching a total length of 255 cm.
