About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Four original antique Thonet bentwood chairs, consisting of two matching pairs. All chairs have original Thonet markings.
The elegant pair bears THONET WIEN and THONET AUSTRIA markings, among others, and strongly resembles Thonet model No. 98 from historical Thonet catalogs. Estimated dating: approx. 1890–1910. On one chair, the woven seat has sagged slightly.
Elegant Thonet pair: €425
The dark pair is also originally marked. On one chair, the wickerwork has slight damage (see photo). For more details on the condition of the chairs.
In my opinion, the condition is very good for such antique chairs. Chairs are stable and ready for use.
Dark Thonet pair: €325
All four together: €675
