Private sellerProduct description
An authentic Thonet child's chair, crafted from the distinctive bentwood for which the brand is famous. This piece embodies the rich history and craftsmanship of the Viennese furniture maker, with a design that is both functional and aesthetically refined.
The chair is made of dark brown stained beech wood, with a seat and backrest of hand-woven Viennese caning (rattan). The design includes a foldable dining tray and a fixed footrest, making it a practical piece of furniture. The chair features the original Thonet stamp, confirming its authenticity.
The overall condition is good, with a characteristic patina that has developed over the years. The structure is solid and the caning is intact, testifying to the durable quality of the original design.
This Thonet child's chair is not only a functional item for a child but also a decorative object that adds a touch of classic, vintage charm to any interior. It fits seamlessly into both a classic and a more eclectic living style.
