Product description
A rare Bauhaus-era nightstand designed by Hungarian architect J. Fenyves for Thonet in the 1930s. The B 107 model is a striking example of early modernist design, seamlessly blending functionality with architectural clarity. Its clean lines and practical proportions make it ideal not only as a nightstand but also as a compact side table.
Crafted with a chromed tubular steel frame and lacquered wooden cabinet, this piece is finished in a rich Bauhaus blue that evokes the period’s bold, rationalist aesthetic. Notably, it survives in exceptionally good original condition—both the lacquer and chrome exhibit only minor signs of age, with the overall structure firm and fully functional.
Highly sought after among collectors and admirers of Bauhaus design, this is a rare opportunity to acquire a true original with historical integrity.
