Beautiful and exclusive set from the high-end brand Theodore Alexander (model: The Residency Campaign Desk). Executed in classic British colonial style (British Campaign). Made of beautiful walnut wood with unique details.
Desk features:
• Beautiful bowfront design.
• Flip-top surface: the tabletop can be folded open.
• Inside features original leather writing surface with fine gold/blind tooling and practical pigeonholes / compartments.
• 5 drawers with the original, characteristic bronze knobs.
• Elegant flared legs connected by graceful cross braces.
Chair features:
• Matching luxury chair with leather seat featuring an embossed stamp.
• Backrest decorated with a beautiful classic coat of arms.
• Brass handle at the top of the backrest.
Condition:
The set is in good, sturdy condition with some normal, characteristic signs of use/patina on the leather consistent with the age of the furniture (see photos).
Nonsense bids will be removed. Pick-up only.
Please note: The hinges of the flip-top surface are currently loose (see photos). The wood is completely intact and not broken out; the hinges simply need to be re-secured with screws in the existing holes. A small and simple repair for a handy buyer.
