The daybed is by Artifort, designed by Theo Ruth and made in 1950. Base is oak and beech, legs painted black. The stuffing of the bed is horsehair and jute (probably marked 'Marshall plan', (not visible), with tension springs of metal. I had two pieces of sofas but one was lost. I kept the fabric/upholstery and it comes with it. Could be made into a pillow or used as a 'plaid'. The print of it is very reminiscent of captioned fabric. Both items are in near perfect condition, neat vintage. This item is very rarely offered as it is extremely scarce. Only a few of them known. Theo Ruth is a well known designer who has many wonderful designs to his name.
