An absolute highlight in Dutch Mid - Century Design!
That's how we can rightfully call this dazzling armchair.
This relatively rare piece of seating is a product of the famous furniture factory De Ster and has been nicknamed the "knot" due to its design.
The model has a very distinctive frame where the connection on the side is reminiscent of a stylized knot. Over the years, this model has become a true Dutch design classic and sought after by enthusiasts worldwide.
100% sure is the fact that the model is made by furniture factory De Ster, and is of an unprecedented world class design, it is a so-called ladies armchair, with "low" back.
The sculptural frame, executed in full teak wood has beautiful organic forms and is open worked on the sides, the whole is very reminiscent of the designs and finishes that you sometimes see on expensive ships. Look at how beautifully the armrests merge into the frame, exceptionally beautiful!
The upholstery and padding has been completely replaced by the best craftsmen.
There is chosen for a beautiful green fabric, extra soft and in an intense dark green color.

Richwool is an environmentally friendly upholstery fabric. The combination of pure new wool and alpaca wool provides a rich look and unprecedented softness.
