The artwork "The Love Messengers" is a beautiful layered piece featuring burnt lines in a wooden panel. Tiny hearts have been burned into the flying birds. The deep blue colors are very intense and striking. This artwork represents freedom and love. The free-flying birds carry the message of love, for love is the greatest driving force that moves the world forward.

Anneke Winterman completed her studies in Autonomous Visual Arts at the Utrecht University of Applied Sciences in 2005. She creates both independent work and commissioned pieces. Winterman has participated in group exhibitions and has had a few solo exhibitions in her own region. Several of her artworks have been included in various publications.
