About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is the 'The Flame' table lamp, a design by Dutch artist Wout Wessemius. The piece is instantly recognizable by its organic, upward-twisted shape reminiscent of a stylized flame.
The lamp is made of a white, translucent material, likely opal glass or Perspex, which diffuses the light softly. The sculptural shade rests on a round, layered base, giving the design a stable and finished foundation. When switched on, it creates a warm, atmospheric glow that accentuates the design's flowing lines.
The object is in excellent condition, retaining its original finish and structure. Its overall condition attests to careful use over the years, and the piece is fully functional.
This table lamp functions both as a light source and as an autonomous art object. It is a distinctive addition to a sideboard, side table, or desk and fits seamlessly into a modern, minimalist, or Dutch Design interior.
