Product description
Step into a legacy of timeless design with the Egg chair by Arne Jacobsen — a masterpiece born from one of the most ambitious hotel interior projects in design history. Originally created for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen (now the Radisson Collection Royal Hotel), the Egg chair remains a bold statement of Danish modernism and masterful craftsmanship. Designed in 1958, the chair’s organic, sculptural form was a radical departure from the hotel’s rectilinear exterior, creating a surprising and luxurious contrast in the interior. Jacobsen, known for his meticulous attention to detail, designed not only the building but also every element inside it — from furniture and lighting to the cutlery.
Today, the Egg chair transcends trends, embodying style, sophistication, and history. Whether placed in a living room, lobby, or lounge, the Egg elevates any space, offering unmatched comfort and visual appeal. Owning an Egg chair means owning a piece of design heritage — a true icon that stands the test of time.
