Product description
This unique, somewhat prophetic work was painted 25 years ago (in 2001) with the title "The day after World war 3". Central to the painting is the figure of a naked man, symbolizing a pure human being, and next to him a torn copy of Picasso's Guernica as a symbol of the horrors of war. The man sits hopelessly on the edge of the abyss. Behind him, everything is destroyed, and before him lies an abyss. We see that our world today is slowly beginning to grasp the meaning of this painting. I fervently hope that this will never happen and that this painting will only serve as a reminder to us.
This unique work is painted with oil paint on canvas, stretched on a frame and ready to hang. Shipping without frame.
Work was created 25 years ago (in 2001)
