This cult model, named Terraillon 4000 (BA 4000 series), was designed in 1969 by the legendary Italian industrial designer Marco Zanuso, in collaboration with Richard Sapper. Officially listed in the brand's general catalog of 1970 and acquired by the Centre Pompidou as well as MoMA in New York, this icon is distinguished by its duo of removable weighing containers: a small reversible opaque white tray and a large amber smoked brown transparent plexiglass tray serving as a protective lid for compact storage. Its inclined analog dial with an optical magnifying glass guarantees a perfect reading of measurements.
