About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is the bronze sculpture 'Tenderfoot', a characteristic work by the Dutch artist Peter Keizer. The piece immediately stands out due to its expressive character and the unique, rough texture so typical of Keizer's style.
The sculpture is entirely made of bronze and has a dark, almost black patina. The playful details, such as the inlaid purple eyes, the white snout, and the golden tongue, give the animalistic figure a quirky personality. The artwork consists of two separate parts: the figure itself and an accompanying ball, which creates an interactive and narrative element.
The overall condition of the sculpture is excellent, and it retains its original finish as intended by the artist. The work has a powerful, almost primitive appearance and adds a good dose of character to any space. It fits perfectly on a sideboard, a side table, or in an open cabinet, where it will certainly be a conversation starter.
