Product description
TEMDE Vintage Table Lamp | Teak Wood | Mid-Century | 1960s/70s | Adjustable Shade
An exceptional vintage table lamp from TEMDE Lighting, dating from the mid-century era, likely from the late 1960s or 1970s.
The lamp captivates with its particularly elegant and organic lines. The round wooden base and the sloping, finely profiled wooden stem are combined with a curved metal arm in a warm copper/brass tone. The large, conical shade can be adjusted using the original swivel joint, allowing for both ambient and focused lighting.
A special detail is the light-colored, subtly textured shade with its decorative brown lacing along the edges. When switched on, it creates a wonderfully warm, soft light, underscoring the typical ambiance of mid-century design.
The combination of wood, metal, and handcrafted shade makes this lamp a distinctive design object – ideal as a table, desk, reading, or sideboard lamp, and perfectly suited to teak furniture as well as Scandinavian and modern interiors.
