Product description
This vintage desk, crafted by the Belgian furniture maker MDK, is an excellent example of Mid-Century Modern design. The piece is characterized by its 'floating' top and the clean, geometric lines typical of the mid-twentieth century.
The desk is finished in a warm teak veneer and offers a functional layout with a floating drawer in the middle, a cabinet on the left side, and a drawer unit with three drawers on the right side. The original, round brushed metal knobs complete the design. The construction testifies to the craftsmanship of that period, with attention to both aesthetics and functionality.
The furniture is in good vintage condition and has an authentic patina that reflects the character and history of the piece. The warm glow of the teak wood has been well preserved and gives the desk a timeless appearance. The overall construction is solid and stable.
With its elegant and functional design, this desk is a refined addition to a home office or study. It fits seamlessly into an interior with Mid-Century, Scandinavian, or eclectic influences and offers a stylish workspace.
