Beautiful vintage Dutch design armchair by WeBe. This armchair has an interesting story. Although this armchair is often attributed to Louis van Teeffelen, we have learned from the family of Louis van Teeffelen that they can confirm it is indeed a Walraven and Bevers armchair (WeBe), but they are not sure if Louis van Teeffelen is the designer. The research is still ongoing, as the design could also be by Arne Hovmand Olsen. In addition, the armchair is also known by two names, the wing chair or the penguin chair. Whoever the designer is, and whatever the chair is called, it is a beautifully organically shaped armchair that is also very comfortable. The chair has been reupholstered in a beautiful brown mottled upholstery fabric and fitted with new foam. The armchair is 53 cm wide, 65 cm deep, 75 cm high and has a seat height of 40 cm. Condition: The chair has been fully restored and is in very good condition.
