Product description

Mid-century, vintage sideboard, designed by Victor Wilkins for G Plan, made of teak with a teak veneered finish. The piece is in very good, original, vintage condition, with some light marks, signs of age, previous use and slightly faded areas in proportion to time, throughout the structure (see various photos.) Some marks and signs of previous use on the top (see photos with 1-cent coins for perspective), a small mark on the front left corner (see photo), but nothing that affects its very cool look, nor its functionality. The piece has also retained its beautiful original patina. The cupboards and shelves are very clean (see photos). The shelves are removable and adjustable. At some point, this piece was upgraded by replacing the original skirt (base of the plinth) with tapered wooden legs, which are stable and in very good condition (see photos.) The sideboard is stable and solid. The buffet is stable and solid. It has only been gently cleaned to preserve its original patina. Note: This is a classic piece from the G-Plan line, and the G-Plan identification stickers on pieces from this period were only glued on, unlike earlier editions where the mark was embossed, so they are known to fall off or disappear, with use over time. Although the sticker is no longer present, we have a second sideboard, identical to this one, which bears the identifying sticker on the top outer corner, inside the left-hand cabinet door, where it is found on all models of this sideboard. All photos were taken in natural light, indoors, so colors may vary depending on the light, angle and perspective in which they are viewed. ACTUAL DIMENSIONS: H: 73.5 cm x W: 162 cm x D: 46 cm | Space (height) above shelves: 20.5 cm | Space (height) below shelves: 17 cm. Note: Depending on your place of residency, we might be able to assist you with our own transport, at a better rate than the one currently listed one on the site. If interested, please message us via chat, and let us know where you are located, in order for us to provide you an accurate quote. There will only be one driver, so someone should be present the day of delivery. Feel free to contact us prior to purchase if interested.

Detailed Condition: Very Good — This vintage/antique item has no defects, but it may show slight traces of use, as has been noted in the description above. Light wear consistent with age and use, Patina consistent with age and use, Surface has been polished.
