Svanette daybed/bench by designer Ingmar Relling, produced by Ekornes in Norway in the 1960s.
Teak frame, beech backrest.
The back cushions are removable, transforming the daybed into a single bed.
Two small teak shelves on each side open to hold the cushions, allowing the daybed to be used as a bed or as small tables.
The seat lifts to reveal storage space.
The daybed has been fully restored (seat cushions) and reupholstered in a contemporary ecru mohair bouclé fabric.

This piece will complement vintage, Scandinavian, Danish, 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s design furniture.
