Roger Hilaire for MALORA (a Lorraine furniture manufacturer), a 5-door sideboard with steel handles fitted with saddle-stitched leather. Circa 1955.
One door opens to reveal two drawers, another folds down to reveal a bar with a glass shelf, and the others are shelves. Beautiful solid wood splayed legs.
The manufacturer's plaque is on the right door: "Meubles de notre temps malora et" (furniture of our time, Malora). The central door is marked "nf 106" (French standard).
In very good overall condition, with some minor signs of wear (corners, a small glass chip, and a few scratches). A very fine piece with all original assembly screws.
231 x 50.5 x 90 cm.
