The iconic Take table lamp, designed by Ferruccio Laviani for Kartell in 2003.
A celebrated example of contemporary Italian design, the Take lamp is instantly recognizable for its playful reinterpretation of the classic bedside lamp. Molded from a single piece of transparent green polycarbonate, the design creates a striking visual effect in which the pleated lampshade appears to dissolve into the sculptural base. The faceted surface beautifully captures and refracts light, giving the lamp a luminous quality whether illuminated or not.
