This vintage Blue Finger Swung glass vase was handcrafted in Taiwan during the 1970s and is a beautiful example of mid-century modern art glass. Made using the traditional "swung" or "stretched" technique, molten glass was pulled and shaped by hand to create the distinctive organic “finger” forms near the rim, making each piece truly unique.
The vase features a deep cobalt blue color with a glossy finish that highlights its fluid shape and sculptural quality. Its tall, elongated form and asymmetrical details give it strong visual impact, whether displayed as a decorative object or used as a functional vase.
Finger-swung glass was widely produced in Taiwan in the 1960s–1970s for the international market and is now highly collectible. This piece works beautifully in mid-century modern, retro, Scandinavian, or contemporary interiors.
