About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This is a distinctive bar cabinet by the Italian manufacturer Tagliabue, a fine example of late 20th-century design. The piece is defined by its innovative construction, featuring a series of cylindrical compartments that swivel open to reveal ample storage.
Crafted in Italy, the cabinet combines a rich, dark wood finish on its rotating sections with a sleek, metallic silver top and base. The main body stands on a sturdy pedestal, while the organically shaped, kidney-like top provides a functional surface for serving. When closed, the unit forms a compact, sculptural column, making it a space-efficient solution.
The overall condition of the cabinet is very good, reflecting careful use over time. The swiveling mechanism is a key feature, allowing the user to access the contents with a simple, elegant motion. The contrast between the warm wood grain and the cool, neutral tones of the metal components is a hallmark of its modern aesthetic.
This versatile piece, known as the 'Bitte' bar, is well-suited for a contemporary living room, dining area, or office. Its unique form and function make it not just a practical storage unit but also a compelling conversation piece that complements a modern or Italian design-focused interior.
Breedte bovenblad 89 cm, diepte bovenblad middenin gemeten 39 cm, breedte laden 50 cm, diepte laden 32,5 cm, hoogte lades variërend.
