Original Tacito letter opener from the Metallia collection by NUMA / Serafino Zani, designed by Marco Susani and Mario Trimarchi. Made in contemporary pewter, the object takes the form of a stylised bird whose elongated tail becomes the functional letter opener. Metallia was launched by NUMA in 1999 as a collection dedicated to a contemporary interpretation of pewter through Italian design. Never used. Includes original black pouch and box. Please note: the original cylindrical stand associated with the Tacito design is not included.
