Unique character piece for lovers of authentic design.
Superb old tripod stool with a strong brutalist style, dating from the mid-20th century (1950s-1960s). This piece is a true work of folk art, hand-carved from dense, dark solid wood.
Main features:
Brutalist Design: Organic forms, raw and imperfect texture, uncompromising sculptural aesthetic.
Unique Top: The top features a "wave" or "shell" texture carved in relief, creating a fascinating play of light. Its edges are irregular and "raw from carving".
Carved Legs: The three tripod legs are themselves worked with engraved geometric patterns, adding depth and detail to the whole.
Authentic Patina: Magnificent original dark patina, testifying to its age and history (some normal signs of use for an old piece, visible in the photos).
Use: Perfect as an occasional stool, plant stand or sculpture pedestal, or as a pure decorative element in a contemporary interior to bring a "Patchwork Chic" or ethnic chic touch. Its robustness is excellent.

Origin & Use: This is an authentic rural folk art stool, originally designed for agricultural use (traditional milking stool) or artisanal purposes.
Practical for shipping: The stool is fully dismountable. The legs unscrew very easily thanks to solid original wooden screws, allowing for flat disassembly for ultra-secure and economical transport or shipping.
