Product description
Joëlle Lalagüe – The Blue Arum, 1993
A beautiful original work created on a wood panel using mixed media and textured relief, characteristic of the artist's pictorial approach. The composition depicts stylized arum lilies in a palette of blues, purples, and greens, with a textured background and drips that create an effect that is both organic and contemporary.
This painting reflects an approach that lies between figuration and abstraction, a frequent signature in the artistic world of Joëlle Lalagüe, who has been developing an expressive and colorful body of work since the 1990s, exploring the energy of life and natural forms.
The work is in very good condition in its original frame, enhanced with gesso and highlighted with white and gold lacquered moldings.
