Textile sculpture board with wave and relief effect obtained through the magic of pleating. Ref : Écume
Paintings based on repeated folding with gold-thread inlay, acrylic paint and embroidery.
The pleating gives rhythm to the horizontal lines, creating abstract images that invite us to take a visual stroll.
For me, the colors and undulations of the pleats embody the contemplation of the desert. From white to dark brown to a cameo of sandy hues, the colors we see when hiking in the Sahara.
For me, the painting evokes the fluidity of time in an element between fairy tale and dream.
Variations in shapes and colors, always in motion as you move around the room and expose the light.
Each painting is unique and tells a different story.
