About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
Elegant kidney-shaped mahogany side table in Louis XV–Louis XVI Transition style, with a kidney-shaped top. Its brocatelle marble top, with red, pink, and cream hues, is surrounded by an openwork brass gallery. Beautiful ornamentation of chased and gilded bronzes highlights the belt and legs: vegetal motifs, decorative drops, and sabots. It has a central drawer and a lower shelf, ideal for holding a few books or a decorative object. Its fluted and slightly curved legs give it a refined silhouette. A charming piece, to be placed at the end of a sofa, in an entrance hall, or as a side table in a bedroom. Patina and traces of use visible in the photos. Dimensions: Height: 76 cm Width: 53 cm Depth: 34 cm
