Product description
Hillebrand Oslo Table Lamp by Heinz Pfaender (Black), 1950s
The Oslo was designed by Heinz Georg Pfaender in 1961 and is one of Hillebrand’s characteristic early-1960s table lamps. Its simple circular shade can be adjusted together with the supporting rod, allowing the light to be directed while retaining the lamp’s compact, geometric appearance.
The design received an iF Design Award in 1962. It was one of a number of Hillebrand table and desk lamps to receive iF recognition from the 1950s onwards.
