Offered is this vintage Pineapple lamp, now an iconic and sought-after object. This sculptural lamp is a creation of the French house Le Dauphin and was released around 1970. This gold-colored metal pineapple stands on a black lacquered base with a gold-colored rim at the bottom of the base. The lampshade tends towards a dark aubergine color and fits very well with the pineapple and black base in terms of color scheme and texture. The whole is in Hollywood Regency style, and fits well into a Regency or chic interior. It is an imposing lamp, as a centerpiece or conversation piece, a gem in your interior. Dimensions including lampshade: H 69.5 x W 30.5 x D 24 cm Dimensions lamp without shade: H 55.5 x W 14.5 x D 14.5 cm Weight: 2705 grams The condition of the lamp is very good considering its age; the lampshade has some cracks in the plastic layer on the inside. With the textile on the outside, you don't notice anything about this defect in the light or appearance of the lamp. A lampshade is very personal in taste and can, of course, be replaced by another lampshade of your choice. We found this shade very fitting given the nuanced color and texture that somewhat matches the texture of the pineapple. These are second-hand items.
