This striking vase lamp with a cord was upcycled from an original Bay Keramik vase – designed by Bodo Mans – model 96/30. The Bay series was extremely popular in the 1960s and 70s and was produced in various sizes, designs, and colors. However, this model in vibrant red is now quite rare.
The vase features a three-dimensional relief design reminiscent of stylized aquatic plants. The vertical structure and organic lines lend the object a graphic presence. The bright red glaze with dark accents impressively highlights the relief structure and gives the vase a sculptural quality.
The vase: Manufacturer: Bay Keramik, Model: 96/30

Careful conversion to a lamp: The conversion was carried out with conscious respect for the original object. No damage to the ceramic, reversible, customizable plug-in solution, stable base thanks to weights, vase cap with a high-quality brass finish, visible brass rod for an elegant connection to the shade.
Technical details – classic cable solution: This lamp is corded and features: a black E27 socket – rated for up to 120 volts, a discreet, transparent textile cable that connects directly to the socket, and a transparent switch and plug on the cable.
Ideal as a statement piece on a sideboard, console, or as a striking accent in any living space.
Lampshade by Roomlight Studio. Dimensions: 25 cm diameter x 23 cm height. Material: Japanese cotton fabric with a koi motif. The detailed koi design with flowing fish shapes echoes the aquatic plant relief of the vase. The combination of organic ceramic decor and Asian-inspired textile design creates an almost narrative connection. The light is warmly filtered by the fabric, creating a cozy atmosphere in the room.
This lamp is a handcrafted, one-of-a-kind piece. Only one available.
