About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This Dining set, a creation by the German manufacturer Lübke, is a remarkable example of mid-century design. It consists of an extendable dining table and six matching chairs, combining functionality with Scandinavian aesthetics. The elegant silhouette and the use of natural materials define the timeless character of this set.
The table features a wooden top with a warm finish, resting on two sculptural legs that provide stability and visual appeal. An integrated extension allows the table to be easily adapted for different occasions. The six accompanying chairs have solid wood frames, enveloping backs made of woven rattan, and comfortable seats upholstered in dark green fabric.
The set is in very good vintage condition, showing careful maintenance over the years. The wood retains a uniform and rich patina, while the rattan caning and fabric upholstery are well preserved, showing minimal wear consistent with their age. The solid construction of each piece ensures its continued durability and functionality.
Ideal as a centerpiece for a dining room or open-plan living space, this Lübke set harmonizes beautifully with Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian, or contemporary interiors. Its clean lines and warm materials create an inviting atmosphere for meals and gatherings.
