Product description
This charming round side table, dating from the 1950s or 60s, is an anonymous piece of French or European manufacture that perfectly embodies the spirit of quality post-war furniture: understated and well-constructed. While its maker is unknown, it nonetheless testifies to the meticulous craftsmanship typical of the woodworking workshops of that era, which produced solid and elegant furniture without seeking to sign their work.
Its round mahogany veneer top reveals a magnificent natural grain with generous and inviting curves, framed by a solid wood border that gives it a clean and refined finish. The structure rests on four slightly tapered legs,
characteristic of the transitional style between traditional furniture and mid-century design, lending the piece a silhouette that is both light and stable. The warm, even, and deep mahogany hue instantly adds warmth to any interior.
Versatile, it can be used as a bedside table, a coffee table next to a sofa, a telephone table in an entryway, or even as a plant stand in a bright corner. It will fit perfectly into a vintage, Scandinavian, bohemian, or even contemporary interior.
