Product description
Audoux et Minet coffee table, 1950, vintage. Oak table and top in coarse-mesh woven mats. Dimensions: W 80 cm x D 55 cm x H 52 cm. Good condition. Andrien Audoux settled with his wife Frida Minet in Cannes in 1929. They made furniture, mainly in rattan. In 1942, the company moved to Golf-Juan. Here, in the 1950s, they invented a new style of furniture for their Riviera customers, with oak or beech frames and checkerboard or coarse-mesh woven mats. Audoux-Minet furniture was distributed exclusively through the Golf-Juan outlet. The company closed for good in the 1990s.
