History & Design
This superb 1970s dining table, published by Euro Steel Furniture and attributed to Boris Tabacoff, an emblematic figure of French design from that period.
With its spectacular base composed of a bundle of chromed steel tubes and its circular glass top, this table elegantly adopts the codes of Space Age design: sculptural lines, industrial materials, and a quest for great visual lightness.
A SCULPTURE IN LEVITATION
The cantilevered base creates a remarkable impression of suspension, giving the top almost the appearance of a levitating element. The transparency of the glass reinforces this effect and leaves the chromed structure fully visible, a true visual signature of the piece.
A STRONG & TIMELESS PIECE
Both graphic, spectacular, and elegant, this table stands out as a true functional sculpture. An ideal piece to bring a sophisticated seventies presence to an interior, while maintaining a beautiful lightness in the space.
