Product description
This Svensk Hemslöjd rya rug is a striking example of mid-century Swedish textile design. The piece features a bold, abstract floral motif that captures the organic aesthetic characteristic of Scandinavian craftsmanship from this era.
Woven from wool, the rug presents a deep, textured pile that provides both visual depth and tactile warmth. The colour palette is a sophisticated interplay of pink, brown, and cream tones, creating a dynamic yet harmonious composition. The original Svensk Hemslöjd Stockholm label remains attached to the reverse, confirming its provenance and authenticity.
The rug remains in great condition, with the wool pile retaining its volume and the colours preserving their vibrancy. The structural integrity of the weave is fully intact, reflecting the enduring quality of traditional Swedish production methods.
This piece serves as an exceptional anchor for a living space or bedroom, particularly within a Mid-Century Modern or contemporary interior. Its rich texture and expressive pattern offer a compelling focal point that bridges historical design with modern living.
