Vintage armchair model 91, designed by Svend Skipper for the Danish quality brand Skippers Møbler, 1960s.
Unique and rare armchair. Rarely found. Beautiful, high-quality Danish design. Solid teak frame, beautifully organically shaped with tapered legs.
The armchair was originally designed in 1956 and produced by Skipper Møbelfabrik in Denmark. It is also known as the "Papa Bear" or "Teddy Bear" chair due to its resemblance to a design by Hans J. Wegner.
The armchair features a striking, high backrest with wingback ears and upholstered armrests with protruding teak ends, often referred to as "claws."
Upholstered in a rich "Hallingdal" Kvadrat fabric, a woven wool fabric in beautiful, rich, and neat condition. In short, a high-quality armchair in excellent condition. Marked and numbered on the base.
