Suzan Offereins (1958, The Hague) has been painting portraits of ordinary and extraordinary people for decades, such as the Prince and the Crown Prince of Kuwait and many ambassadors. The crowning achievement was the commission in 1998 from the municipality of Rijnsburg to portray Her Majesty Queen Beatrix. Suzan received an invitation to come to Huis ten Bosch Palace, where Queen Beatrix posed for her.
Suzan painted about forty Royal portraits; this collection is included in the brochure ‘Rondom Beatrix’. You will receive this booklet with the painting. In addition, she painted many oil portraits, including of Queen Beatrix, commissioned by the municipalities of Middelharnis, Goedereede, Katwijk, Korendijk, Ede, and Waddinxveen, as well as the headquarters of ABN/AMRO and Rabobank, the Goeree-Overflakkee Water Board, and Tiel. She was invited to exhibitions at Museum Panorama Mesdag, Museum Katwijk, Museum Willem van Haren, the Museum for Communication, the Juliana-Keukenhof Pavilion in Lisse, and from November 2011 to April 2012 at Soestdijk Palace. In 2013, she posed by invitation around the inauguration of the royal couple at Magna Plaza Amsterdam.
