Product description
Slender and radically essential, the “Suro” floor lamp, designed by Ennio Chiggio for Lumenform in the 1970s, fully embodies the experimental tension of Italian design of the period. An object poised between conceptual art and function, where structure is reduced to the minimum in order to emphasize gesture, balance, and spatial presence.
The long metal stem rises vertically with striking lightness, culminating in an adjustable reflector that directs light with precision. At its base, a compact, dark sculptural element anchors the composition, creating a sharp contrast between mass and line. The intentionally visible cable becomes part of the formal language, reinforcing the industrial and experimental aesthetic of the piece.
“Suro” is not merely a lighting fixture but a sign in space — a graphic presence, almost drawn in the air — ideal for contemporary interiors or strongly curated architectural settings.
Fitted with one bayonet bulb.
Condition: good overall condition with minor wear consistent with age and use; some losses to the chrome finish on the reflector.
Dimensions: Width 12 cm – Depth 20 cm – Height 225 cm
Ref.: L0854
