Product description
Superb Antique Square Tablecloth 210x210 cm Linen Thread Lace. Central Insert: An imposing lace medallion (bobbin lace or Venetian point type) with floral motifs, connected by embroidered brides. Openwork: Presence of numerous "ladder stitches" and "Venetian stitches" over the entire surface and borders. The warp threads have been removed and then embroidered with a needle to create these openwork patterns. Excellent general condition. The textile is sound, solid, and shows no perforations (fabric unaltered). A tiny rust spot (see last photo) Lace structure perfectly preserved. Clean piece, ready for use or for a collection.
