Product description
Sleek and minimalistic swivel chair.
The back and seat are made of bent beech wood.
The padding is made of ‘multi-density polyurethane foam'.
The swivel leg is made of brushed stainless steel.
Colour: Light grey, mixed.
Condition: Excellent, as good as new.
Size: 75x82x64 (HxWxD), seat height 41 cm.
Newly bought at Friday Next in around 2012.
Retail price between 2800 and 5000 euros.
P.S. After earning a diploma in Decorative Arts in Nice, in 1985, Christophe Pillet began his professional training by collaborating with Philippe Starck prior to becoming a fully independent designer, in 1993.
Pillet has distinguished himself through his designs, furniture design and interior architecture. His works are an expression of the “esprit” found in the new and very promising wave in contemporary French design.
Already nominated “Designer of the Year” in 1994, Pillet is considered a designer who devotes himself to the choice of materials and finishes, through which he has always expressed solemn elegance.
This typical refinement can be found in Christophe Pillet’s creations for Cappellini, the Sunset armchair and the High Time sofa and armchair series.
